TGF-Beta / Proteolytic enzymes

  (Wobenzyme N ~ pancreatin 300mg, papain 180mg, bromelain 135mg, trypsin 72mg, rutin 150mg) GENERAL SUMMARY: TGF-β is a multifunctional cytokine involved in various cellular processes, and its dysregulation contributes to numerous disease states.  In fibrosis, excessive TGF-β activity leads to tissue scarring in multiple organs, causing dysfunction and potential failure.  TGF-β plays a dual role in cancer, initially suppressing tumor growth but later promoting progression and metastasis in advanced stages.  Dysregulated TGF-β signaling is implicated in autoimmune diseases, disrupting the balance between pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines and resulting in chronic inflammation and tissue damage.  Additionally, TGF-β contributes to cardiovascular diseases by promoting vascular remodeling, inflammation, and fibrosis, leading to narrowed blood vessels and heart failure.  TGF-β is involved in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, contributing to neuroinflammation, impaired neuro
