Liquid Diet to Complement Mediterrenean Keto
Want to share my liquid diet with you. It's complementary to Mediterrenean Keto.
Some of these nutrients are either really hard to obtain in keto (resistant starch) or hard to obtain regularly in limited amounts (cranberry, blueberry, parsley etc). Liquid diet gives you control over the amount and regularity.
Part 1. Around 15g of resistant starch per serving, twice a day. Maintain gut integrity, lower IL6, TNF-alpha, gut inflammation.
Oat fiber (2 tsp)
Green banana (1-2 tsp)
Inulin (0.5-1 tsp)
Acacai (0.5-1 tsp)
High amylose maize-resistant starch type 2 (amount TBD)
Part 2. Add missing components like low carb fruits or broccoli which I cannot eat very regularly (it requires prep; powder makes it regular).
Cranberry - 1tsp
Blueberry - 1tsp
Broccoli powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric (0.5-1 tsp)
Parsley powder - 1tsp (apigenin, anti-cancer)
Green tea powder - 0.5-1 tsp (EGCG, anti-cancer)
Btw, I don't consume a multivitamin, but I eat vegetables & fish very regularly. This is on top of that.
